Are you looking for an alternative to alcohol out of concern for the negative health consequences?
Or perhaps you want to cut back due to its high calories?
More and more people are looking for healthier alternatives and skipping the alcohol in drinks.
Unbeknownst to the majority of the public, alcohol is a major cause of many types of cancer.
Yes, the cancer warning labels are listed on the wine, beer, and liquor bottles, but in very tiny print.
More and more medical research is showing that people who drink alcohol –
even in small amounts -have a higher risk of cancer.
As a result, more people are now catching on and opting for healthier, tastier alternatives.
I started researching different non-alcoholic options and found these Mocktails, which are alcohol-free mixed drinks, are tasty, refreshing, and fun to make!
Here are Delicious Mocktail Recipes that Will Impress your Friends and Family!
Cheers!

Non-Alcoholic Spicy Margarita
Adapted from Pinch of Yum.com
You will need:
- 1.5 ounces of lime juice (about 3-4 limes)
- 2 ounces of jalapeño cilantro simple syrup (see below for how to make it)
- Tonic water to taste
- Tajín seasoning for rimming the glass
- Ice cubes
- A lime wedge and a celery spear for garnish
To make the jalapeño cilantro simple syrup, you will need:
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 jalapeño pepper, sliced
- A handful of fresh cilantro leaves
To make the simple syrup, combine the water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves, then bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until slightly thickened. Add the jalapeño and cilantro and let the syrup steep for another 10 minutes. Strain the syrup and discard the solids. Let it cool completely before using. You can store the leftover syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
To make the margarita, rub a lime wedge around the rim of a glass and dip it in Tajín seasoning. Fill the glass with ice cubes. Add the lime juice and the simple syrup and stir well. Top with tonic water to your liking. Garnish with a lime wedge and a celery spear. Enjoy your refreshing and spicy drink! 🍹
